Infinite progress
Infinite progress
By : Gargi Mishra
From womb to tomb
we are on a constant quest....
To prove the worth of
our very existence....
Whether you have the
mettle for the mission or not...
Whether your body gives
you permission or not....
You may not be ready
it's chilled to your bone...
Your ligaments may tear,
but still you got to run...
A pattern of connection
Is formed with people you pass
You might be walking
together for past few hours
Will give you the foothold to
The stuffs that you love
Remember they are the secret
agent sent right from above
Before you wake up
right from the nightmare
They will disappear
from your wide eyed stare
They are the ones
You mustn't let go
Recognize the fake ones
Who massage your ego
From swooping birds and the peeping moon
Your fantasy will be shifted soon
The neon lights, the gimmicks and beer
The towering buildings touching stratospheres
The elevator, the concrete, the cables and wire
Will change the definition of your real desire
While you flap-off temporarily with fulfilling feathers
Like popping bubbles your dreams will weather
So don't keep basking in the glory of success
Serve others, do good, for an infinite progress
