Independence

I am struggling,

I am juggling,

I am trying to be free.

Seeking freedom, from bondage I am. 

The more I try,

The more I am caught,

in the web of life,

into the dribble of ball ,

rolling alongside.

I am caught into the allure 

of mirage,

some one trying to lure 

me in the barrage.

I am tied to my duties,

weighed down by frivolities,

exchanging my priceless peace,

to worldly un-necessities.

I love the glitter, I love the sheen.

All are false, I know,

Yet I am keen.

I know this is a dream!

My boat is staggering,

but the sky is dazzling,

My frame is searching for a foothold. 

Some steps I have to take, are bold.

Oh! My savior! Come hither!

I am entangled in the mesh!

Save me from this mess, 

Enlighten me !
