In Vain
In Vain
To realise something in pain
Or perhaps all the hard work in vain
Till it all pours down into the drain
Like little drops of solitude, pitter-patter rain
All the work that you did
Went in smooth through a flow
Like the morning dew that lights the pit
The mist of the night that glows
But an effort is lost and night in vain
When the hard work you see blows
And you can feel nothing but pain
Lost in the search of glory and glows
Then all of a sudden it makes you realise
The real fun was in the run, better stay wise
And then comes the part that is difficult to the most
Get up and shine like you once rose.
