In The Circus Of Life
In The Circus Of Life
Behind the loud noise of laughter
There was a sigh of his broken dreams,
All could see his coloured face
But none could hear his heart's screams.
He too had a life
With countless ups and downs,
He too had to distinguish
The cheers from the frowns.
And while waiting for the perfect time
And making his little efforts,
He was thrown away by the time
As if he was worthless.
He woke up one day to realize that
He was still alive,
In the darkness with crushed dreams
And no hope to survive.
With hundreds of wounds and scars
And an unbearable pain,
He dared not to amass and live
His shattered dreams again.
But then he learnt to chew
And swallow all the pain,
Buried his own desires
Of being the star and shine.
He became a joker in the circus of life
Wearing a fake smile,
A clown, a jester, a master of humour
Adorned his profile.
