IN MY THOUGHTS!

We talked about love 

So often what hurts 

Is that 

I had you in my heart 

The whole time 

And you never noticed. 

I knew 

I moved on

When I spoke about you 

With compassion, 

Love, 

And understanding. 

You came into my life with a purpose

And left with one as well. 

I know the pain will dissipate 

This day will become yesterday, 

Then months ago,

And years ago, 

Until finally

It is simply a flashback.

I saw souls rejecting me

Maybe I will see souls disliking me.

But how can I stop loving myself?

As God has accepted me.

The way He has created me!

Maybe someday, somewhere 

We will meet again. 

But for now, 

I will keep you safe in my thoughts. 

As far as my eyes can wander, 

I will always see you. 

And as long as my heart can wish 

I will wish for you.
