IN MEMORY OF POOJA SINGH MADAM
BY SANJAY YADAV

PART I

Oh, my Pooja Singh Madam,
Though thou art beautiful and lovely,
Thy teaching makes me feel inspired.
Thy lovely eyes appear gentle,
And thy lips look colourful like roses.

When thy voice flows like a wave,
With beautiful and lovely sounds,
Thy gentle hands look soft and smooth.
When thou and I hold hands together,
I feel a deep connection of love and respect.

Thy soft hair moves gently in the air,
Turning in different directions,
Looking beautiful and graceful.

Thy smile brings happiness
Deep into my heart.
When thou wearest a beautiful saree,
Thy graceful appearance
Makes the moment more memorable to me.

PART II

God made thee a beautiful princess on Earth,
A princess who walks among people
With kindness and grace.
Students love thee
As a teacher and a guide.

When I saw thee for the first time,
It became a lovely moment in my memory.
When thou received the gold medal,
I felt happiness and pride
While seeing the beautiful smile upon thy face.

Thou art not only an educator to me;
Thou art like a sister,
Whom I love with the affection
I hold for my own sister.

Thou remindest me of my mother,
Because of the care thou showest
While teaching and guiding.

Thou art like my best friend,
With whom I feel happy and comfortable.
Thou art also my best guide,
Standing beside students
And helping them through difficult days.

PART III

Oh, my dear Pooja Madam,
Thy guidance has a special place in my life.
Thy kindness reminds me
Of a mother's love.

Every act of care from thee
Brings happiness to my heart.
Thy smile, thy voice, thy words,
And thy guidance
Have become important memories to me.

Sometimes thy beauty and graceful presence
Remain in my thoughts day and night.
Each day, I remember thy voice
And the lovely smile upon thy face.

God has created every part of thee
With beauty and grace.
Thou lookest like a beautiful princess,
And in my eyes,
Thy kindness makes thee truly special.

Oh, my Lord,
I thank thee for giving me
Such a beautiful guide,
A loving sister-like presence,
And a teacher who inspires me.

Oh, my Lord,
I pray that in the next generation
There may be teachers like her
Teachers with a mother's kindness,
A sister's affection,
And a guide's wisdom.

I wish to receive her love
Like the love of a mother,
And to remember her care
Through every beautiful moment.

Oh, my Lord,
Please bless my mother,
My sister, and my guide.
May they remain happy and healthy
Throughout their beautiful lives.

Bring happiness to their families,
And let smiles remain
Upon every face.

When my mother,
My sister,
My guide,
And my family are happy,
Their happiness becomes
My happiness too.

PART IV

Oh, my Pooja Madam,
Though years may pass away,
Thy memory shall remain
Within the pages of my heart.

Thy words shall remain like a light
Upon the road of my journey.
Whenever darkness comes before me,
I shall remember thy guidance
And continue walking with hope.

Thou hast taught me
That knowledge is not only found in books,
But also in kindness,
In patience,
And in helping others.

Thy smile shall remain
Like a beautiful morning,
And thy voice like a gentle wave
That brings peace to my heart.

The gold medal thou received
Shall remain a beautiful memory,
Not because of the medal alone,
But because I witnessed
The happiness and pride upon thy face.

One day, when I look back
Upon the journey of my life,
I shall remember the teachers
Who gave meaning to my dreams.

Among those memories,
Thy name shall remain special,
For thou wert a guide
Who inspired me to move forward.

Oh, my Lord,
Bless Pooja Singh Madam
With happiness throughout her life.
May her smile never fade,
May her dreams continue to shine,
And may her kindness touch
Many more lives.

Though I cannot stop time,
I can preserve my memories.
Though moments may disappear,
The gratitude within my heart
Shall never disappear.

Thou art a part of my memories,
A guide upon my journey,
A teacher whom I respect,
And a beautiful presence
I shall remember throughout my life.

When the pages of life are turned,
When the years have passed away,
Thy memory shall remain
A gentle light
That never fades.
