If Love Had A Name

If Love Had A Name

If love had ever found a name,
It would be written just the same
As yours upon the silent air
That softly moves through midnight’s prayer.

Before you came, the world was wide,
A restless sea, a lonely tide.
The stars would shine, the moon would glow,
Yet still my heart felt hollow so.

Then like the dawn that breaks the night,
You filled my days with golden light.
No trumpet sang, no thunder cried—
But quietly, my soul replied.

Your laughter flows like summer streams,
That wander through my quiet dreams.
Your voice—so gentle, calm, and true—
Feels like the sky when skies are blue.

And when the wind begins to roam
Through silver clouds that drift and comb,
I feel your presence near somehow,
Like whispered promises of now.

The world may change, the years may run,
Like rivers racing toward the sun.
The mountains crumble into sand,
And time slips softly through the hand.

Yet one small truth will still remain—
A quiet, everlasting flame.
For love is not the words we say,
But hearts that choose each other’s way.

So if the stars should lose their glow,
And silent nights forget to show
The gentle light they once once threw—
My heart will still remember you.

For love is more than fleeting art,
It is the echo of a heart
That found its home one fateful day
When you and I both lost our way.

And in that lost and wandering place
I found forever in your face.
