If love comes by

The echoes of thunderstorms blink in my mind

Slumming of doors in my face

Footsteps behind me send chills down my spine

The sound of music of the dark past

Race through my mind am horrified

A hand stretched out of the blues

Comparison glows in those eyes

Fear emerges from deep within

I feel the igniting flames 

Reaching out to my brokenness

It's love for sure passing by

I submerge instantly into my bed of fear
