Silence is darkness

For the mind is filled with fear

Progress is crippled 

Eyes turn blind

Ears go deaf

All work is halted

The day turns to night

The mind goes to sleep

Darkness covers the mind

When silence strikes

 

Silence is darkness

For happiness it robs

Brings into one's mind fear. 

To start is to stop 

To run is to walk 

Nothing gets off the ground

When silence walks into the mind.
