If I Must Smile

The miles of struggle is real

Kicked around like a ball 

Was a painful experience 

A moment when my world scrambled to the ground

at the beginning of my life

There was always misfortunes lined up for me

As if life had my life planned out in advance for me 

There was no way out of my miserable life

Doom was the path planned for me

If I must smile I would for I have triumphed over all negativity 

Broken the chains that kept me a prisoner of silence

Swam out of my tears of miseries 

If I must smile I will for am a warrior princess 

Ready to face the challenges ahead

Am not backing off this time 

For the past pain has brought out my innermost strength 

To move on with life
