I Seek An Oasis
I Seek An Oasis
In this infinite barren land,
Among the cacti and the scorpions’ sting,
I seek an oasis, though unseen yet.
This desert, soaked in blood, spreads,
With every step, the thorns and shadows close.
I wonder, parched, amidst the endless wars,
Rivalries that scorch and riots that burn.
Disease and hatred infect the very air,
Yet still I hope for respite from this strife,
A hidden oasis in this relentless waste.
