Do you think humans have changed through history?

I don't think so. Thousands of years ago,

In the Colosseum, people watched the fight,

Or beasts devouring men. They thrilled at blood.

I've heard that now, they visit, but still regret

They can't see the ancient show again.

I've seen them watching fights on city streets,

Hands in pockets, silently enjoying

The tamasha. Years have passed, yet still,

The sadistic heart of man remains unchanged.
