I'm A Girl

I’m a girl, full of vigour and vitality,

I’m the mighty universe, the base of the planets,

I’ll not cringe nor fear for I’m made of steel,

Every breath I take fills me with pride,

Despite the calamitous surrounding, I shine with optimism,

My heart drenches itself in the cascading blue hope,

But, yes, I feel glum; some days I need support,

For I’m a human with emotions,

I go in hibernation or I relax for a while,

And, then I get up, brush off the grime and straighten my crown,

And, again, I prepare myself for the perpetual fight.
