Hope Amidst A Storm

There is a storm brewing

In our heart and soul.

The one that will lead

You down into a hole.

For it knows you

Inside out and more.

It says, you are like

An ocean without a shore.

It hits us where

It can hurt the most.

We listen to it all

As if our life was a ghost.

It says the tough times

Are about to come,

We believe it all and

Leave our world to its sum.

But then a light flashes

Of love, care and hope.

It enlightens us and we begin

To treat the storm as dope.

We fall head on yet

We rise with all the fight,

We lose our way yet

We stand and show our might...
