Every pluck strikes a new emotion

As I run my fingers over my guitar with devotion

It isn't a tool merely for recreation

But intertwines my feelings for a meaningful propagation

The majors and minors

Forming various chords

Some carry me above the mountains

While certain land me in fjords

The most minuscule of movements

Serve as a treatment

For my wandering sentiments

The tenderness and warmth doesn't seem to have a replacement

We allow ourselves to strengthen this bond over time

The moments become engraved and enshrined

My heart is pronged on a ring like a solitaire: it helps me bind

Myself together; oh, you're so kind! 

You are the food, fuelling my desires

When I'm perplexed into entangled wires

I wish to keep you all along

For each split second, my fingers perform a heartfelt song
