Growing Silence

In old times I used to speak loudly and happily,

The stupid conversations went on continuously…

Those days were history and have gone far away,

Now my mind is blank, I have nothing left to say…

There was huge turbulence inside my mind for long,

My true feelings and my fake smiles couldn’t go along…

Now I am exactly what appears to the outside world,

A person who enjoys silence and who is very conserved…

Now I am happy since emotional me has gone for good,

I have agreed to the fact that life can’t be understood….

Friends don’t expect the emotional me to be alive again,

It was good for sometime but in the end it brought pain…

Now I have changed myself and there is no coming back,

I have got the happiness and satisfaction which many lack…
