Green in nature

As I took walk in park all the people looked almost similar,

A dull mix of fair to dark skins complemented by black-brown hair.

Nature, on contrary had a full range of colours from visible spectrum,

Birds had blue hues in their wings and red in beaks.

Flowers were yellow, red, white, some purple and rare blue Aprajita. 

But what stood out most to me was the ordinary green.

Most common yet striking in its presence in park.

Soothing to eyes, next best to the pitch dark.

It is this bright liveliy green that draws me to walk in park.

As monsson rains started, I was hesitant to jointhe gym,

Exercises were essential to wellbeing, so I pondered,

" whats in the park that's not in the gym?"

In that humid weather gym had ACs .

The grey, black instruments in a white room, 

seemed devoid of the magic of green, that drew me out from my bed.

The Green is one of the most coommon colour in nature.

There were the beautiful shades of green,

The dark green of older leaves, & lighter fresh new leaves,

The morning lawn grass laid with silver shining dew droplets,

Pull me to green spaces in a growing greyscale urban world.
