The Great Indian Tricolour

I owe my strength of character,

To the lessons, I imbibed as a child.

I watched India's freedom fighters,

Sacrifice their lives for India's pride..........................

An Indian at the core,

My heart swells with pride,

When I see Indian soldiers lay down their lives,

To save it from the onslaught of the enemy tribes......................

As Indians that foray to a new century ahead,

Poverty, Corruption, and Hypocrisy are some demons that we contend.

I owe my courage and fortitude,

To the great Indian leaders who set an exemplary legacy behind............

India's honor and respect,

Lies in the hands of every Indian without suspect.

Dissolving the individual differences,

If we place the honor of our motherland much above the rest.............................

In times of peril such as these,

When Indians fight the pandemic relentlessly,

It is paramount that we all survive.

As the new dawn arrives,

Indians globally would rejoice.

For the Indian tri-color flag,

Would sway well above the rest..................................
