My Father, Great and True

My Father, Great and True

With resolute courage, strong and grand,
Like Himalayan peaks, so tall he stands.
He journeys onward, never still,
With strength of heart and iron will.

I proudly cherish all he does,
His every deed deserves applause.
With skilled hands, he shapes with care,
Masterpieces beyond compare.

In technical arts, his knowledge shines,
With wisdom deep and sharp designs.
His steadfast heart knows no defeat,
His laughter makes the world complete.

Every heart is drawn to him,
His love makes every sorrow dim.
To me, he’s dearer than the rest,
A father loving, kind, and blessed.

Nature herself, with tender art,
Has carved his virtues, soul, and heart.
With loving care, she shaped him fine—
A precious gift, a gift divine.

When clouds of sorrow fill the sky,
Or troubles rise and dangers lie,
He never falters, never fears,
He walks ahead and calms our tears.

When life’s own boat begins to sway,
He guides it safely through the fray;
Through storm and tide, through every shore,
He leads us safely evermore.

I thank the Lord with grateful heart,
For giving me a precious part—
A father like a shining gem,
A priceless gift, a diadem.

Through countless ages, time may span,
Yet such a father is rare to find.
A treasure granted from above,
My father—my strength, my pride, my love.

My father, great and true,
There could never be another like you
