God
God
If you asked me about God,
I would have no answer,
He sits in a church,
Maybe nailed to a cross,
Or He could be on top,
Of some mountain,
Meditating on rocks.
Or She is just happy,
On her swan,
Or killing those who did us wrong,
Maybe he is in a mosque,
Or maybe there is no God
But I see it every day,
In the water and springs,
In the sky,
In your pride and your parades,
If something was God I see it in your eyes,
When you fight and have courage.
Thank you for showing me divine
As he or she sits not in a temple,
But in your mind.
