Glory To The King of Kings
To grant us everlasting peace descended from heavens above
The Infant God, Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal King of all.
The answer to a million prayers made on bended knees
With folded hands and closed eyes came He for our release.
With saintly smile He gently laid in humble Mary's arms
As three Star-led wizards from east rode with fragrant charms
To see the blessed child of the Father, our King of Kings
His hallow'd fire, an enlightening muse, of which many shall sing.
The birds of charm clung making love on that December night
As rays o'er Bethlehem meekly bowed before our Prince of Light
A thousand ec
hoes shook the wind whistling o'er the waves
Of bliss filled villagers who danced under Cynthia's gaze.
Author's Note: - By birth, I am a Hindu and follow Hinduism. However, this year due to various life changing events, I have developed a strong faith in Lord Jesus. He is with me in these trying and testing times of life. I also have a strong faith in Buddhism, and I have written various poems on Goddess Kuan Yin and Goddess Tara. I adore them both. I believe God is one, but His names are many and all religions preach non-violence, love and brotherhood.
