Silence

A great silence came over me

And it started to ask

What is it that you are seeing

What is it that you are looking for

And I had no reply

I got lost in the whirlpool of my own thoughts

Pondering upon the question

What am I seeing

Where am I being

My inner eyes are closed with my outer eyes open

My soul being so lost whilst my body is wandering

Dark it has become... Dark is all I can see...

Where have I lost my wings for I can't flee...

Considering the lies to be truths...

I thought it all to be myths...

Waking up from a deep slumber... And going back again to sleep

Seeming so stunned.. That I can only weep

I told the silence...

Come.. Let's sit and talk

Because I forgot to be alone and forgot how to walk

I am sitting here... Like a madman

Because fake is this worldy clan

Silence replied... Why do you have to worry

Why do you have to weep

You should not lose anything.. You should only keep...

Keep up with the pace of your soul

Keep up making peace with you..

You are now awake.. And you should stay so..

See the light that brings you to the place...

Follow the path... Have your chase...

You can't be tired and you can't turn away...

Hit the storm and just sway...

Get up and look...

Write the pages of your book...

For silence is the voice of yours

Silence is the language of peace....
