Wild & Mild were good friends,

And confided in each other.

Wild was hot-natured & demanding,

Mild was soft-natured & submissive.

But both got along too well,

Because opposites do attract.

One day Wild thus boasted,

"I always have a last word with my wife".

Mild then responded mildly,

"I too always have a last word with my wife".

Wild looked surprised and countered,

"May I know the last word that you have"?

Mild replied calmly,

"Sorry is the last word that I always have".

A "Sorry" a day,

Keeps the sorrows away!
