Freedom

Ask those animals in zoo,

What freedom means to be able to?

Ask those prisoners in jail,

What it means to be out on bail?

Ask those birds in the cage,

What it means to fly freely as a page?

Ask those people in mental asylum,

What if they get a chance at their home directly to jump?

Ask those patients admitted in hospital with different syndromes,

How will it feel if their discharge gets confirm?

Ask those people locked at their homes in quarantine,

Aren't they waiting to rush out when everything's fine?

Ask the suffering mother earth who's tired from our stuff,

Doesn't she need break from this time i.e. Rough?

Freedom is a feeling,

Which we need for our healing!

Freedom is also a choice,

To be yourself away from the noise!

We were always tired and bored of our constant daily life,

And we always desired for a long break from school, college and work life!

Now we're again tired staying home in this quarantine,

And we desire the freedom to go back to daily routine!

Always struggling with exams, meetings, competitions and work floods,

Freedom is being able to fly like a bird!

Oh how good it feels to be free,

Roam in nature under the tree,

And to do whatever you want with a glee!

Tired from chaos,

Freedom is where peace flows!

Freedom smells like a rose,

Having no interference of anybody's nose!

Freedom is a right of all living beings,

Whether it's a human, animal or insect,

Freedom is to find and be yourself with unseen wings,

It is independent of any cult or sect!

A nation where citizens have freedom of all kinds,

It becomes a nation where peace and progress is always bound!
