Freedom And Choices

Freedom is worth fighting for.

It is worth living and dying for.

What is a world without freedom of choice?

Why a country stakes all for liberty?

Freedom is an elixir to liberate our mind and soul

And yet, it often creates chaos.

Freedom of speech without knowledge

Freedom of decision without the wisdom of purpose

Freedom of choice without empathy

Freedom of action without accountability

Create a ruckus unparalleled in history.

It deserves a worthy suitor to take the call right

And balance the odds as walking a rope really tight.

It's easier to say, 'It's my choice' but difficult repenting later.

It's easier to walk off and escape but difficult to write-off the outcomes in future.

Life gives you a choice at every juncture:

Acceptance, denial, trial and error.

Freedom asserts our individual aspirations,

Add to it our collective conscience.

If we need a big change to stay free-willed,

It has to be inclusive and conscious of the peril.

The point is not to follow or please everyone

As it causes us to be naive or full of fright.

It's about building judgement and reason in making choices.

At all cost, being fair and upright.
