AND LIKE THE SHADES I FADE AWAY

Few years back this was all like a dream

From the place I began to where I've been

Few years back no one knew my being

The way it began how it had all begin

Back to the present am here now they know

From a kid to a teen that's the way I did grow

Living the life the way I should go

Pause for a moment and then It was so

Am here today

And like the shade I fade away

Started with music then back into poetry 

All that I do the lines like geometry 

Wanted to give back to life like I should 

Lost mum and dad was asked if I could 

Then for a moment I didn't eat my food 

For the sake of been good I did lose my mood

Trying hard couldn't still understood 

A lot were to question I shouldn't have stood

I wasn't been rude neither was I good

This lines are my feelings with them I had brood

Am here today

And like the shade I fade away

Am here today to play my own part

Along the line we met on same path

Am here today to make an impact 

No one knows tomorrow perhaps we'll depart 

Am here today to fulfill my mission

The reason I came wasn't my decision 

But I've made up my mind

Till I'll get what I find

I pray we together

Even when things ain't better

Am here today

And like the shade I fade away

While I live for the moment I'll give you my life

While I still breathe the air while am still been alive

While my hands are still here I'll keep writing friend

Till I no longer can till then the very end

While my eyes can still see I'll keep writing dear

Till when I'll leave and been taking from here 

Let my life have much meaning either alive or dead

Let this words live for ever never leaving thy head

Am here today
