AND THEY THREW HER The STONE

AND THEY THREW HER The STONE

And They Threw Her The Stone

Wait!

She was caught in the act

And they had to react

In their eyes like a cat

On the ground where she sat

On her face they had spat

Time drew very fast

On the show like the cast

As they spurned out her past

Tears filled up her face

She was stunned at the glaze

She had begged em for grace

As they moved on with pace

There was no place

To trace

There was no phrase

To chase

All that's left was the brace

Soon her time would erase

There she's trembling in fear

She scorned her affair

How she wished they could spare

At least make it fair

There she was in the snare

Who would come? Who would care?

On her face was the stair

On her face was despair

Then they had come to conclusion

After all the confusion

For her sins she would pay

For her soul they would sway

Then they took up the stones

Then it'd broken her bones

The next moment her soul

Going down like the scroll

Till she'd closed up her eyes

After paying the price

May her soul rest in peace

As she died not in ease...
