Father's Day
Father's Day
Father,
He had given his shoulder when I wanted to lean upon
His lap when I wanted to lie down
His hand when I am in great fear
And He had given himself when he saw me in tear
My guide in all the storms of my life
And a mediator in all our silly strifes
His worries are never flaunted away
All his desires just went midway
His sacrifices went countless
And his love for me went boundless.
His struggles were never outspoken
And his pain went unspoken
The man who just prays ' bless my family
I'm there to hold all the miseries
What more I can call him Rather than telling him with pride ' he is my dad'
The real unsung hero paving a way
Keeping all our miseries at bay
And each day is his day ...
