Allow Me To Live

When I am anxious to see my mom

Why do you abort me even before coming out of her womb?

People love and yearn to have a child

But when it is a girl why are they maltreating her so wild?

Am I not the god's unique creation

Then why do you consider me as burden of the nation?.

Am I the toy to play

 Or a doll made out of clay?

Why are you thwarting my every dream?

And what pleasure you find on making me cry and scream?

Am I not looking beautiful with a cherubic smile

Then why do you hinder me to step forward to the next mile?

Will the sadness and stigma continue for eternity?

Or Is this a curse to the entire feminine fraternity?
