Gave everything to look after health and welfare of all kids to raise.

We worship them as our heroes, pay everlasting love and respects!!

 

Friends and family supported you through thick and thin while needed

Teachers taught you good lessons for a bright future and truly wished!

Farmers and rulers struggled hard to give food and shelter to every soul, 

Soldiers fought for law and order to protect the country to keep all safe!

 

Political leaders and loyal workers were on their knees to any struggle 

To establish liberty, democracy, fraternity, human rights and welfare

Give food, shelter, education, health and social care and justice,

Progress, developments, mutual understanding, harmony and peace!

 

You must be proud that a noble soul was born in your own country,

Took Non-violence as a weapon and fought for freedom of our nation,

Loved the whole world as his country and all people as his own family 

Wanted to give a social order and ever lasting peace in this universe!! 

 

A great man loved everyone in his life, received a bullet on his chest! 

Never raised his fingers, held his chest and gave his life up for humanity

Saying, Ram., Ram..., on January 30,1948 in a prayer hall in New Delhi!
