Face of Moon
Face of Moon
Each night the sky will find that glow, the face of the moon,
And from my eyes it will never go, the face of the moon.
A darkness deep begins to fall in a velvet-black void,
Yet light will soon start to show, the face of the moon.
Behind the clouds it often seeks to hide, the face of the moon,
Yet in my gaze it will ever abide, the face of the moon.
I gather all the broken dreams within my lonely heart,
To heal them with that soothing light of the face of the moon.
I saw many clear and shining forms looking at me,
Yet none is as pure as the light of the face of the moon.
"Murali" finds his ultimate peace, in this poetic verse,
By forever praising the beauty of the face of the moon.
