Eternal Love

It was a moonlit night

Love was in the air

He was on his knees

She was at peace.

He asked for her hand

To adorn it with the ring band

It was sparkly and pretty

Just like she was glittery

He was overwhelmed with happiness

Knew she would fill him with merriness

He could not wait

To get engaged

She was delighted

To be his beloved

She could not wait

To be his mate

They had waited for this moment

All their lives

But It never happened

When they were alive

They had to die

So that they could unite

They were not treated well

Heaven was their place to dwell

 

They were happy now

In their own heavenly town

Gone were the days of sorrow
