Dreams To Die For
Dreams To Die For
Along the shoreline, I used to walk,
Watching the albatrosses flying by.
They’d a goal they starved to achieve
Even in sleep they kept gliding by
Sometimes even their wings were locked
But kudos to them! they never stopped.
Why would they when they’d gone so far?
Even they started with a muddy claw and bloody scar
Why won’t I with so much wisdom?
When there are dreams to die for.
