Dreamless
Dreamless
I wonder about dreams,
The ones I cherished,
And then abandoned,
In the marketplace of life.
I have aged to youth,
Buried a million dreams,
Cried again at the reality,
Till I ran out of tears.
Have they become stars,
That shine in the night sky,
Teasing me with light, yet,
Shying away when I chase.
Oh, the night sky, that
Once inspired me to dream,
Stands today as their grave,
Like fabrics without the scent
