Braving A Storm
Braving A Storm
To know of a storm, is no joy,
To stand against the raging wind
In structures of steel, ready to yield.
To see large trees bow to ground,
Screaming for mercy, submitting,
To winds, unbiased and unmerciful.
What followed was a storm,
A storm that took us back,
Devouring the technology pride,
The reset to a ground zero,
The flourishing markets now gone,
Those skyscrapers now broken.
Within this came a storm,
A storm that left me humble,
Foiling all engineering I had learned,
I realised the power of bowing down,
To the one who controls what I don't
To the one beyond what I know of.
