Dreamcatcher
Dreamcatcher
He used to be the moon to her night skies
The rainbow to her monochromatic life
He was all the good that she could think of
All the beautiful metaphors she could make
For she had loved him truly
And dearly
Every night she used to see him in her dreams
Only to learn that his love was fake
And since the day of the revelation
He has become her scar
And she has hung a dreamcatcher by her moonlit window
Just to ward him off from all her dreams.
