Dream
Dream
Well, the day's gonna dawn in a while
Maybe today, the sun will smile a little more,
And like any mortal human,
Would pray to be with you,
In your arms,
Besides your warm shoulders.
But few things, never happen,
And few things could never be changed
Like the way you make hearts sway to your rhythm
Or how swiftly you could steal souls and own them
Or maybe, how your divine smile be the cure for everything laid waste
Or how your perfect lips, in this measly world, still finds its place.
Sometimes, perfection is a crime that would never let people breathe
While sometimes, perfection is given life and made to walk on the streets.
As perfect you are,
And though my words may fumble,
You'd be one I'd love writing for,
And I hope someday, we'd still be talking long.
For I've been taught and believed,
Only nightmares don't let people sleep,
Until I started getting you in my dreams.
