Summer

It's been time already 

We've been long packing our bags. 

With days gone already, 

Let's run and never look back. 

With even frowns beaming merrily

We're now in a part of our lives. 

So why later? Let's make merry, 

It's now, or never they say. 

We've been long searching for meaning, 

And longer for places to hide, 

And when our hearts become our shelters? 

Why still wait? Run away? Or shy? 

So, 

before the sun dawns

Let's walk towards home. 

Maybe, 

It'd still be dark, 

But we'd be inches closer, 

To where our hearts could smile, 

And happily, call home. 

Maybe, 

Looking at the lost stars, 

And carrying our memories, 

Let's run down the road;

Holding tight, 

Never letting go, 

The warmth of our cozy lips, 

Being the summer to our snow.
