Dream Vacation (Part 1)

One day someone asked,

What my dream vacay was.

I had to cerebrate because,

my mind kept it glassed.

It was an anomalous place,

With grace all over the place.

My mind took it easy,

So that I could linger in the charm.

The winds blew day and night,

Sweltering heat could not get in there,

The Japanese maples caught my eyes,

The harlequin flowers were lit, I swear!

No expectations reached there,

No limitations tied me down.

There were no comparisons,

No burdens to bear!

All that was there,

Were the whispers of the Blue Jay,

The scents of the florets,

And the thoughts of this poet.
