Downpour of Passion
Downpour of Passion
Awakened was I
From a day dream, unreal;
A fanciful thought of a monsoon night
Intruded my solitude, an experience surreal!
Like a sky, your broad shoulders
Spread over me
Little did I expect the dark clouds would
Cast a heavy downpour upon me….
The warmth of breath,
Burnt the skin,
Both the souls yearning to agree.
The touch so familiar,
Eagerly waits
to tighten its grip on me.
Two hearts unite, merging into one;
The drops of passion seem to melt me.
The soil, arid since long, was longing for monsoon,
Moistened it gets, by the rain drops,
as they fall on me.
