Diversity Has Delicious Flavour
Diversity Has Delicious Flavour
I have a good nature,
When I see a person's pain,
Teardrops are falling,
glistening like silver,
dripping like rain, from eyes.
I feel pain,
Like a stabby dagger,
Like a shot of a bullet in the chest.
Seeing the cry,
Watching the hurt,
I am feeling as if thousands of needles, pierce me,
I looked up at the sky,
As nothing can be done
To redeem the pain.
So,
I don't want to deserve better,
I want to have a partner for a lifetime,
I know I have liked a girl or two,
We are always there in hindsight.
As promisor in my love,
I promise to be better,
I want that we both,
Would not go by color,
Black, brown, or white,
We will not matter,
As the same is not soul’s flavor.
I have faith in my thought,
It’s the colors in life that
We are capable to handle,
Weak are the eyes,
That judge a person’s by their skin,
Unable to see what resides within.
Beauty is the warmth within,
I am proud to wear my skin,
In which I am born,
For I am whole,
Unlike a racist shredded and torn.
When people judge you,
By your color,
Tell them,
It’s a time of the day,
To experience diversity
And it has a delicious flavor.
