My Journey To Mars
My Journey To Mars

The first woman on Mars was me,
It was living in space peacefully,
The mountains there were soaring high,
Above my head into the sky.
Mars, being away from the sun, gave me a chill,
But my experience over there was truly a thrill,
I took a ride on Mars's two moons,
On the mountains and in some red flowing lagoons,
Red was the colour God of Mars had used,
Seeing the similarlity to Planet Earth I was confused,
Mars was the red planet of space,
And for me the moutains were face to face,
Mars was the planet of rocks and stones,
The mountains were shaped like ice-cream cones.
During this trip I was having so much fun,
Until I heard the sound of a gun.
Looking up for the source of the sound,
I turned to an army of aliens I found,
Showing a bravado I did not feel,
To ask the chief - "What was the deal ?"
The chief said his name was farce,
And that he had come to conquer Mars.
To save Mars I had to think quick,
And vanquish the army in a way that was slick,
I went to the army chief and told him in a soft voice,
The army of Mars is approaching so make no noise.
Hearing this the army chief decided there was no other way,
So he would conquer Mars another day.
Having saved Mars from Farce,
I played my part,
And returned home with fond memories in my heart
