Unity in diversity, to live life

Human may be Hindus, Muslims,

Human may be of any religion.

Human may be Indian, Jews, Palestinians,

Africans, Somalis, Haitians, Colombians.

Human beings of all kind in condition appearing,

May be of different identity belonging.

In unity in diversity we are to live,

We had lived and will fight to live.

Sometimes bigotism takes our happiness,

Pulls us closer to heroism, which is thoughtless.

Some hold with them having no power or ,

With an assumed power decided worthy to disappear.

History sometimes lies buried in the mud,

Where roots of a society has no guard.

Truth is apparent in human blood,

We know the way we destroy our own world.

It may be in battles and treacherous bullets,

By masked men hiding behind religion and politics.

In such background let us read Mahabharata,

I believe, it would shows us bright light.

In Mahabharat, Karna asks Lord Krishna,

My mother left me the moment I was born.

Is it my fault I was born an illegitimate child?

Is it wrong that I remained with Duryodhana's side?

Is it my fault that I did not get the education,

From Dhronacharya because I was considered not of a Kshatriya clan

Parsuraam taught me but gave me the curse,

To forget everything caming to know I was Kshatriya.

A cow was accidentally hit by arrow of mine,

It's owner cursed me for no fault of mine.

I was disgraced in Draupadi's Swayamvar,

Kunthi finally told me truth only to save other sons of

her.

Whatever I received was through Duryodhana's charity,

So how am I wrong in taking his side ???

Lord Krishna replies, "Karna, I was born in a jail.

Death was waiting for me even before my

birth in cell.

The night I was born I was separated,

From my birth parents without fault my side.

From childhood, you Karna grew up hearing,

The noise of swords, chariots, horses, bow, and arrows.

I got only cow herd's shed, dung, and

Multiple attempts were on my life even before I could walk.

I have no army, no Education facilities,

I could hear people saying I am the reason for all their problems.

Always you were appreciated for your valour,

That is from your peers and teachers.

I had not even received any education,

I joined Gurukula of Rishi Sandipani only at the age of sixteen.

You are married to a girl of your choice,

I didn't get the girl I loved & married those to whom I rescued from demons.

I had to move my whole community from the banks of Yamuna,

To far off Sea shore to save them from Jarasandh, called a coward for running away.

If Duryodhana wins the war you will get a lot of credit,

If Dharmaraja wins the war

what do I get.

Only for the war I would receive the blame,

And people would I am the cause all related problems.

So remember one thing, in life Karna,

Everybody has challenges in life to face.

Life's unfairness does not give you license,

To walk the wrong path out of revenge.

Destiny is not created by the shoes we wear,

It is determined only by the steps we take without fear.

So no matter how much unfairness we got,

How many times we were Disgraced.

No matter how many times we fall,

The important is how we react at that time of fall.

Human is to live with a smile, feel the love of truth,

Wrong is always wrong, not at all a living life's path.
