Dilly - The Singing Dolphin

Dilly - The Singing Dolphin

Dilly the dolphin liked to sing a jingle

But her brothers could only whistle,

Poor old Dilly couldn’t do a jingle

Because her brothers would only whistle.

She brood and she drooled until she swam in a pool

She thought,

A thought she had never thought

She dusted, she gleaned;

Till the benches were clean.

Her bros made a visit

But had to sit,

Dilly made them giddy

By feeding them jelly

Then she sang

And surprisingly they too sang,

All of them sang!

But what did they sing?

Oh! Of course a jingle…………
