Digging Up A Chance
Digging Up A Chance
I walk through the wet and cold grass
with the sun setting over my head,
As I am heading to the hidden grave
the grave that is somewhere inside of myself.
I walk past the old tombstones
as after-life seems to be filling the air,
Maybe it is time to re-claim the life that I once had
Maybe it is time that I start trying to dig up my only chance.
Arriving at my own haunted resting place
digging up my only chance to walk out alive,
and walk away while also being able to also survive
So here I am just digging up the ageless dirt.
So, I will continue searching for my casket of hope
while also shoving out all of the excess remains,
Searching for all of the dreams that I once had
buried along with my personal self.
