Age has blended two persons

Persons with different temperaments 

Temperaments that haven't much changed

Changed only for love's betterment 

This bond of love grows like vine

Vine spreading overbuilt trellises 

Trellises that collapsed sometimes

Sometimes when arose differences

Understanding each other happened

Happened not just like magic

Magic worked below the surface

Surface smoothened built with love bricks

They say marriages are made in Heaven

Heaven indeed created circumstances 

Circumstances fortuitous that we met

Met, married, ruling out other chances

Forty-four years down the road we reflect

Reflect on what we have built together

Together stood in good and bad times 

Times have only made us grow stronger
