The flickering bulb in the hallway,

The feline jumping from my bedroom’s loft out of nowhere,

The distorted images in the crystal clear mirror,

The screeching sound of the closed bedroom door opening,

The dripping sound of water from a closed tap,

The intermittent knocking sound from the basement,

The constant howling from the drainage pipes,

The family photo frames swinging in rhythm,

The closet door squeaking and opening exactly at half past nine,

The central heating showing 24 degrees but the house is freezing cold,

The water in the tub turning black every time I go for a bath,

The bouquet of fresh flowers wilting within no time,
