Curse Spell

Behind the Ally of my building

Walking around in torn clothes

A man with ash on his face and arms

His hand to and fro playing damru

Caught my attention.

Just a snake around his neck

Would make for a perfect Shiva.

Pulling something out from his bag

Hung on his shoulder

He starts to announce

"Bam bam bhole,

Aa gye bhole! "

And frees a snake on the street

That in no time confides into a house.

Harrowed, I yell from my balcony...

To warn people of that house

In no time, it becomes a banter of cat and mouse

I decend from the stairs real fast, 

When I see that man cross my path,

Before I give him an earful

He pulls another thing from his bag

Handing me, he walks off

I unclench my fist to see ashdust all over

My hand, 

Next thing I know, 

I see myself walking on an alien street,

In minimal clothes with ash on my face and arms

My hand to and fro playing damru.

Announcing-"Bam Bam Bhole, Aa gye Bhole"

I pull out a snake and free it on the street

That soon confides next door,

While I desperately wait for 

Someone to warn people of that house,

So I could revive as a snake

to be freed into another address.
