Cuff-links
Cuff-links
Letters of Love becomes a poem,
A monsoon masterpiece on the
Polished drops of dew,
Cloaked petrichor perfumed stillness,
To sink into the rhythms of rain,
Wordless conversations add,
Syllables of romance to silence.
Rain streaks down the umbrella,
A tender smile on my lipstick-stained lips,
Spontaneous emotions,
Rolls down through your heart,
Echoing thunderbolts centre the above sky.
Golden cufflinks buttoned with bliss glistened in stillness,
Romanticised ripples walk over the small
Marble bridge,
Breathing in the warmth of each other's company,
Gathers photographic memories of August's monsoon,
Whilst proceeding to depart for today.
