Courage

Where on earth is courage grown?

On swampy fields or lands of stone?

Tis a mark we search each day,

Through empty words we often say.

Courage breathes in flourishing blood,

Defying through the calamitous flood.

It makes us fly through zephyrs crude,

Ignorant of our humanhood.

Iron hearts still pump the flow,

Blanketed within an ardent glow.

Intrepid souls can smell no fear,

And in pride they swim through air.

Whilst on war games for the land,

It makes us gallop on sunken sands.

And for deeds that contemplate death,

It fills our lungs with warmth of faith.

Even below the gloomy skies;

Where winds have perilous pair of eyes.

It makes us stare back with no blink,

Our grooves too spare no while to think.

Brave heart men on snow shroud peaks, 

Breathing in hunger for aplenty weeks.

Keep a flame ignited within, 

A flame of courage will make them win.

Let the west winds leave back seeds,

Seeds of courage must bring new breeds.

New green plants will grow in pride,

Fruits of courage will drape each side.
